Preparation

Your Self Ceremony is a terrific opportunity for you as a modern woman in today’s world to set aside precious time to commune with the ancient wisdom of Seanmháthair Gealach, (Shan-wha-her Gee-al-yack) Grandmother Moon, turner of tides and Star of us womenfolk.

You will be invited to create Sacred Space both literally and energetically, then perform a simple Self Cleanse to prepare. Watching the Story video draws you in deeper to closer connection ready to begin your Self Ceremony accompanied by the corresponding audio Chant. Then afterwards, take quiet time to journal about your experiences especially any insights that have been revealed before closing Sacred Space to conclude.

Please engage with them before you commence, as there will be certain items and preparations that will be required to enhance your transpersonal experience. Attune to your Inner Goddess

The concept of an Inner Goddess is not new – this has existed for many, many Moons worldwide. In the Irish Celtic shamanic tradition, we call this our Anam Leathcuplá – our Soul Twin. This is the version of us that represents our fully healed higher or authentic Self. We all have glimpses of this part of ourselves now and again, when we fully open up to our greatness and feel empowered to be who we truly are. Shining our immense light in the world being all we can be. There is much wisdom in tapping into this very important aspect of ourselves. Now you have the opportunity to sit under Grandmother Moon and consciously honour your own Inner Goddess with August’s fascinating and powerful Self Ceremony.

You are now following in the footsteps of your foremother Ancestors creating Self Ceremony in the privacy of your own home or garden. It is time to begin – your Celtic soul is ready.

Opening Sacred Space

Self Cleanse

This is a simple yet powerful process to let go what no longer serves you. This may be from releasing the stress of the day to an old hurt or way of thinking, that is creating negative thoughts or actions. Give yourself some time to become aware of what you wish to shed, your higher consciousness will know and allow it to come to the surface. This cleansing process usually takes 2-3 minutes. Please refer to your document.

Journal your experiences

Once you have had time to integrate all your Self Ceremony has gifted you, then sit down and write, doodle or draw all you have experienced in your Journal. Take your time.

Close Sacred Space

If you can, look out at Seanmháthair Gealach Grandmother Moon and revel in her moonlight or sense her energies as you gently ease yourself into the rest of your evening. Perhaps even go straight to bed or a warm bath or shower – you will know what is best. Finally, look for any synchronicities in your dreamtime and daily activities.
